PLEASE HELP ME!i am having these terrible pains!!?

Question:
in my lower abdomen on the right hand side.. its low down. and it causes my back on that side to hurt too. its low beneath my hip region.

iv been to my gp who tested my urine which was normal no problems at all! he showed me the results, and he did a physical and concluded it was my colon, then after medicine to fix that the pain didnt work.
i went to a diff doc for another oppinion and he did a scan and said it was an inflamed/blocked ovary and falopian tube and after inflamation medicine and being concerned i went to the gynae he said the gp was talking nonsense and i am fine, he did a physical and said "my tummy is soft" dont know what that ment!

what the hell NOW?

im on the pill and have been for 5 years. low dose

It happens a week before my period starts and it gets really bad, it causes lower back pain too. its happened now for three menstral cycles!! im really concerned and i feel that no doctor can actually give me an accurate answer!

It sounds like an ovarian cyst. I used to get those too. The pain goes away when you start your period, right? Maybe you should talk to your gynecologist about going to a regular strength birth control pill. When I did this, I had less trouble with the ovarian cysts. When the doctor said that your stomach was soft, he was saying that the pain wasn't likely being caused by your appendix. If it was your appendix your abdomen would be rigid. So that is what he meant by your stomach was soft. Talk to your gynecologist about upping your dose in birth control. If you are still having trouble, go to an internist and keep getting second opinions until you find out what is wrong. If a doctor tells you not to get a second opinion, get a new doctor! Good luck and feel better!
Ovulation can be painful. I always had really painful ovulation during my teenage years. I would have to stay home from school with a heating pad because the pain was so severe. I did however, grow out of it.
My sister had the same thing. Her doctor did an ultrasound on her and told her it was a benign ovarian cyst. It shrunk on its own, but sometimes they come back. I don't think she had to take any medication for it. Maybe ask the doctor to do an ultrasound to see if they find anything. Good luck finding out :)
It sounds as if you may have an ovarian cyst or follicle cysts. But - understand that every month a woman has what is called a follicle cyst. It forms in order to hold the egg. It then burst releasing the egg - when not fertilized you now have your period. For some woman these follicle cysts can cause pain.
Yea at least you dont throw-up everytime you get yours
Try to avoid meat and try to eat healthier, eat tofu, I know it is really not something great to eat, but it has estrogen that can help you relief your pms.so the way you eat and if you make exercise will be reflected in the way your pms shows, by not even having. If you eat healthy your period will change you´ll see. I used to have terrible pains and nausea, today I don´t cause I eat healthier and it really worked for me :)
As for the thing that it has been happenning for 3 months, changes in stress weight and many factors like the weather can affect the flow and pain during and before your period.

Good luck! ;D
Were you also prescribed an antibiotic together with those antiinflamatory pills? it might be an infection. If you're allergic to some antibiotics, ask to be prescribed a safe one.
Try also the tea Calendula oficinalis...drink one cup every morning before eating with 2 weeks before your period.
And have another scan to see if the tube is still blocked and the ovary inflamed.
Once I had pain in my lower abdomen and back and it was a lombar pain, coming from the muscles on teh right side of my spine. Spine may have small asimetries that can cause pain sometimes.
Good luk.
