I am in no way qualified to answer , I would say the Doctor is the best place to go to find out especially with all the pains etc. I do know however the the morning after pills are very strong and can affect people in different ways - it may have affected you adversely , especially seeing that you 2 very close together , My wife took a morning after pill once and it caused such disruption in her cycle -
try a pharmacy for some guidance and a pregnancy test.good luck and get well soon (those morning after pills can cause a mischief , mind)
it will definately thro your balance off have u ever heard of a condom get a pg test to be sure, next time wrap it up no love without the glove
You can get abdominal pains from the morning after pill because (especially after taking it several times close together) sometimes your liver can't break it down properly. It's nothing to worry about, but it may not be as effective. Sex in general can delay your cycle, and so can the pill if taken near the time your period usually starts.
The morning after pill is like taking three or four of normal birth control pills at once. It is an extremely large dose of estrogen. Estrogen causes the above complaints. Therefore they could be caused by the pill.
Just to be safe, you should exercise safer sex practices and get a pregnancy test at your doctor's office (personal pregnancy tests are not 100% trustworthy).
Hope that helped! :)
goodluck
Good Lord, I don't see how it would be possible. Couldn't you have waited for the first dose to work before you hopped in the sack unprotected again? Even if you were pregnant the first time, I seriously doubt you are now, and I really hope you aren't because the poor embryo would have such defects. Why don't you run a pregnancy test, you obviously know where the pharmacy is located so you can purchase one and test yourself. Then I suggest you make an appointment with the gynecologist for some birth control pills or perhaps a depo shot, so you don't go doing this again. You are not supposed to take the morning after pill repeatedly, certainly not in that short amount of time. It's hard to say exactly what will happen to your body and reproductive system now. I imagine you are in for one killer period, with clots and all. Please quit depending on the morning after pill as a regular form of birth control. It's not designed to use that way, it's supposed to be a last chance thing- not a twice weekly thing. It's not even supposed to be a once a month thing. Just buy the darned test and put your mind at ease. And go see the gyno for a more reliable and safe form of birth control.
STOP taking the morning after pill for back up! go to the doc and get on the pill or buy some condoms! come on, be smart.
You are female, menstruate and have had unprotected sex so the answer is yes. The morning after pill is described as ' emergency contraception'. Twice in one month is not what this is for! If you are not pregnant this time be sensible and obtain regular contraception, if not you will need to change your name to mum!
