First time?

Question:

So I had sex for the first time and i bled and now have a clearish discharge with a bit of light brown in it... i know you can bleed when you loose your virginity from your hymen being torn but can it bleed for a bit? there is no pain down there or itching or anything else weird.. so im just curious

Since the vagina is self-cleaning, when you bled all the blood has to come out. It may take a few days. So the light brown is probably old blood. It's normal.

yes you can bleed. The brownish dishcharge is your body getting rid of blood inside of you, this may take less then a week.

Yeah, you can bleed for awhile (a day or tow I'd consider normal, if it's very light). It's normal. Sex can also cause what seems like your period coming early, even if you're a well-seasoned veteran. Depending on the time of the month, mostly. If it's close to time for your period and your lining is already built up and ready to shed, sex can definitely trigger that shedding (your period) as well. I wouldn't be worried if I were you, especially with the absence of pain or itching.

it's perfectly normal your body is just cleaning out and going back to normal.
