Long periods?

Hello,
When i was your age I had exactly the same problems. I saw my GP and had to have a lot of tests. I was slightly overweight at the time too and was advised to loose a little of the weight. I started to excercise which really did help with the pains, but tests revealed that i have something called polycycstic ovaries, I'm now taking the pill which helps to regulate periods. Please dont take it that something is definately wrong, because there may or may not be something wrong. Everyone is different and monthly cycles can also vary. I would advise you not to panic or stress as this could make things worse, but do see the doctor and get some advice that is tailored just for you.
Good luck and I hope you keep well.

are u in stress or some tension??
you need to see a doctor, there might be something wrong and it's best to get checked out. Good luck x
See your doctor. There could be a problem. That is defiantly not normal! Weight has nothing to do with your period!
I'm quite a bit older than you but have the same symptoms - my GP suspected fibroids and sent me for a scan which confirmed them. Due to my age he is reluctant to put me forward for an operation to remove them, but I suspect that you should be able to get them removed (on the NHS if you are in the UK).
See your GP asap - they have to refer you to a specialist so that will take a while.
Good luck
I'd say its time for a pap smear, call a gynecologist and let them figure it out. This is definately not normal and should be checked out immediately.
You should see your doctor because something could be wrong.
