Awkard question...?

Sorry for the awkardness of this question...

That is a good question, and there are many options available to you. Some women do not trim this area at all, some prefer to do some trimming, while others wax or shave the hair completely off. If you just want to trim the edges so you can wear a bathing suit you have a couple options. You can use a standard razor that you would use on your legs, but make sure you use shaving cream. Otherwise, you could cause the skin to become irritated and then you would end up with unsightly red bumps where you shaved. You can also wax, but beware, it can be painful. You can go to a spa or salon that specializes in waxing, or you can buy the wax online or in a store and do it yourself. Waxing pulls the entire hair out, so it takes longer for the hair to grow back. Where as shaving just trims the hair, so it takes less time for it to grow back. Waxing is not a pleasant experience although the results can be quite nice because you are left with smooth skin, and do not have to deal with the hair growing back as soon. However, my personal recommendation would be to get a razor that is specifically designed for dealing with hair in those areas. Here is a description of my favorite: For 60-80 dollars you can get a set of two specialized razors. The first one you use is called the Feminine Trimmer, and it trims your hair very short. It comes with baby powder that you apply to the area before hand to prevent skin irritation and those nasty red bumps. Then you use the Body Bare to give you a smooth finish. I find that these razors are great because you get the nice smooth look and feel that you would get from waxing, without the pain of pulling out your hair with hot wax. It is also much faster than waxing, and you can trim up for the beach in under five minutes. Well, goodluck with whatever works out for you, and have fun at the beach!
Here is a website that sells those razors, although multiple sites have them, so shop around for a good deal: http://www.personalshavers.com/shaverpro...
Yes you can shave or wax your private area. People do it all the time. At your age, it may be less embarassing for you to shave. Just make sure you're careful :)
you can...but many your parents for whatever reason might not want you to soooo I really don't know what to say...
i dont suggest waxing... OW! shaving works fine.
:] dont worry about the awkwardness... we all had this question on our minds at one time or another.
yes, you can, but be careful.
those places are harder to get when your shaving
That's not awkward. Of course you can shave it or wax it, just make sure to get a nice, brand new razor and take a hot bath.
Your question is not awkward. It is perfectly fine to shave all of those areas you mentioned. Just remember, once you start to shave there, you better keep up with it. When it starts to grow back, it itches something awful.
No need to apologize, all young women go through this phase.
The way I did shave was to only shave in the areas that my bathing suit did not cover. This is much less area to cover (shaving) and you shouldn't have too much itching/discomfort. I used razors and shaving cream with aloe, and didn't have too much problem.
Take it from me, you get the entire thing shaved when you have children and the itching will just about drive you to distraction.
really you can do whatever you want with it. just be careful not to cut yourself. some women just do the bikini lines others shave it bald it's up to you! good luck
