i have had it since january and i love it.
i dont have periods, i dont have the mood swings, i have NO problems at all. the only thing is is for about 2-3 days after you have it put in you will have some cramps.
but other than that it is great and i would recommend it to anyone
I have had it for a month now and I really like it. The only draw back was insertion. I have not had children and my uterus is smaller than average so it took two times before it was placed correctly. The pain during and after was extremely bad but luckily I had prescription pain killers to help. If you have already had children I wouldn't be too concerned with this. I have a friend who has had 3 children and she did not even feel it.
Side effects haven't been bad. I had cramping, headache, nausea, vomiting, light spotting and dizziness for the 4 days. Since then the only problem I have had is with acne. Some days it feels like I'm an adolescent again. But a good face wash and medicated body wash seem to be taking care of that problem.
I would recommend the Mirena to others. Remember though that every woman can react differently to it. Good luck!
