Why are some women sluttier than others, on average?

Is it about hormones, estrogen level? Is it about age? I read that women surrounded by their 30's for example, are at their prime of sexual health and thus, more prone to desperate measures.

I want to know the solid concept behind this sluttiness we see around us; some of them are borderline nymphos who're as much aroused by the mere thought of sex as most perv men resembling me.
