I just went back on the pill in june, i had a normal cycle and got my period on July 4th, and then i got it again on the 25th of July and i have been bleeding ever since. I am still taking the pill but i have never had these issues since i started getting my period, i am 28 years old. I called my gyn because i got it again in 21 days and they told me that was normal, i have NOT called about this but plan to on monday. My issue, as insignificant as it may seem is that i am leaving for Vegas on tuesday and i am sooooo not trying to deal with having my period out there coupled with the 100 degree + weather....any ideas what is causing this?

It's hard to say. It might be from going back on the pill... you might have cysts... your gyno will probably want to do a complete workup. Better safe than sorry! I can understand not wanting to feel this way, especially in Vegas! Having a period that long would drain anyone. In the meantime, before you go to your appointment, be sure to eat lots of potassium - bananas are a good source - and stay hydrated. Good luck!
