Are my birth control pills still going to work good?

Question:
I am only on my 7th birth control pill today, but the first 5 or so i didn't take around the same time everyday, it was sortove like a couple hours different every day, if from today on i take my pills everyday at the same time will they start to work better this month, or is the whole pack basically a waste now? and can you change the time you take them half way through a pack?

Answers:
Actually, you should take them within a half an hour of the same time every day. The whole pack is not a waste; after your first seven days on the pill (if taken correctly), it should work as promised.
a few hours is not gonna make a difference as long as you remember to take them everyday.
