Answers:
try out mary kay's velocity. it's made for teens. it's amazing!
Everytime after you sweat wash your face with cold water and pat dry down and once to 2 times a day you acne soap. My cousin tried the pro active stuff and had the same problem you have now. So I would suggest the water and acne soap it worked for me.
True acne is a condition that needs to be treated by a doctor b/c you need to take something by mouth to treat it. Just putting things on top of it does not work. It has to be treated from the inside out. Good luck.
seeif your parents will take you to a dermatologist,i went they put me on a medication called accutane. you only take it for a few months but ive never had a problem scince. good luck
for your nose use biore face strips.
also try nutragina oil control face wash and nutragina belmish remover it works. i have proactiv and it works for me so make sure you are using it together.
talk to your doctor about benzaclin it works for me.
also wash your hands before you wash your face.
dont touch your face either.
hope that helps!
Sorry but that's just part of puberty (and on past it...). You are trying proactive, but that could actually be causing your skin to break out more, as some skins respond opposite of what you would want. Try just a soad and water wash first thing in the morning and right before you go to sleep. Use clean hands. Wash cloths or puffs can irritate the skin.
when you shower put touth paste and rub it all over your face and do that repidively its a home reminee it works for me and also thank jesus then it will definitely work
Use warm water to open your pours. wash it with soap or a face wash then use really cold water to close your pours. Make sure you wash your makeup off before bedtime and even try to go without makeup for a while, at least while at home, so your skin can breathe. As far as a certain trouble spot, such as one zit, try putting toothpaste on it before you go to bed, not the gel kind, but the paste and it should shrink and become less red.
GOOD LUCK
I know you said foam y is no good, but it is if you use it right!U need to get clean&clear foaming face wash in purple bottle!!And you use any kind of moisturizer for your face afterwards,I use plain face lotion!for dry skin! And it works wonderfull for me i used to have em bad!!I didnt get to try proactiv because my mom wouldnt buy it!
Clear and Clear: I got a 3- stage kit for 6 dollars at Walgreens.
It works really well
Don't use it if you have sunburn though, it STINGS
I notices within a day some pimples were gone and the others were easier to pop! I was sooooooooooo excited
I'm only 11, I started getting acne whn I was 7 or 8!
I realized my skin got a little dry when I used it twice a day, So I use it before I go to bed only!
Hope this helps!!

Way cool, I am so glad that I can help you with this! Proactive is very expensive and has not helped as many people as it should. Here's the deal, Mary Kay products have been around for quite some time and are less expensive and last longer than proactive. They always have a money back guarantee and great deals. My mother started me on it when I was thirteen and I had acne really bad too. I am now 28 and still have acne but it is controlled as long as I stick to my skin care program. It's great, and there is always some one in your area who will come to you. The web site you can visit to be referred to someone in your are is www.MaryKay.com. Good Luck and I hope everything goes well with you. They have stuff you're Mom will like too.
I had the same problem, but it started when I was like 11, so it was way worse for me at school. I went through everything, proactive, clearasil (colored and clear), strydex, chewable pills that were supposed to cure it from the inside out, even TOOTHPASTE! Nothing worked for me.
Then, I decided that my problem wasn't going to be solved in creamy solutions that were supposed to work wonders, it was all revolving around how clean my face was at the moment. I think that I used to have the single most oily face in the world, but then I found out that rubbing alcohol works wonders. Some people say that it can dry out your face, but that's exactly what it's supposed to do! It's not the bad kind of flakey dry though, it's more of a clean and smooth dry. It dries your pimples, and it's a bacteria-killer, so it keeps the dirt off of your face and takes most of the oil off. Now, I'm pretty much all clear except for the occasional break out, and I'm still using rubbing alcohol without any weird or unpleasant side effects.
If you don't want to use rubbing alcohol, you can always try mouthwash. I used that for a while to, and it kills bacteria and gives your face a deep cleaning too. Now, I carry alcohol swabs around with me so that when my face gets oily I can clean it, and it's wonderful. I feel sooo much more confident and cleaner now.
Hope I've helped. Good Luck!
ok, here's the deal:
wash your face and hands with hot water and unscented Neutrogena glycerin soap. then put a hot washcloth on your face for 1 minute. then splash cold water on your face. use another hot washcloth for another minute. splash more cold water on your face. do 1 more hot washcloth, pat your face dry, and rub a cotton ball soaked in rubbing alcohol on your zits. then use another cotton ball soaked in witch hazel all over your face.
this is why:
a zit is just a bunch of bacteria growing in the oil in your pores and creating pus.
the Neutrogena will clean the oil and dirt off of the surface of your skin without leaving residue.
the hot/cold treatments will open and close your pores, squeezing the pus and oil closer to the surface and eventually out of your skin.
the rubbing alcohol will help to kill the bacteria growing in your pores. it is drying, so it's best to use it only on zits.
the witch hazel is a natural astringent that will clean up the rest of your face, soothe the skin and help close the pores.
DO NOT scrub your face vigorously during or after this treatment, because you will only irritate your skin like crazy and it will either break out worse or start rubbing off.
if you stick to this regimen, your face WILL clear up.
Try 'Acne Free' . You can get it at wal-mart or CVS. Its about 18-22 dollors,so not to bad. Its a 3 step system just like proactiv. I use it and love it!
