What is a good age to start having sex?

Question:
or at least an age where my parents wouldn't freak out on me if i did?
Just your personal opinion

Answers:
the perfect age is when you're resposible! usually when you marry, you feel you are independent and responsible, so maybe that's a good age to start?
14-me

parents-17ish...
umm try WHEN YOUR MARRIED? pre marrital sex is NOT the way to go. do the right thing please!
After you finish you senior year in high school and are with someone you would be willing to spend the rest of your life with. Sex is meant to be shared with someone you are willing to spend the rest of your life with.
the perfect time is just after marriage!
you have sex when your ready! plain and simple!

At least wait until it's legal, so neither of you gets charged with sexual offences against a minor. Where I come from you can't get a licence to drive a taxi if you have any kind of sexual offence, including statutory rape - having sex with someone under the age of consent.

I was 17 1/2. The legal age in my country is 16.
Sex is just a personal preference. If you think you are ready, then there you go. Your parents are never going to be okay with you having sex. If you decide to have sex, you are making an adult decision, and need to make an adult decision to use protection. Sex comes with all kinds of different emotions, and can change things for you. Please, please, make sure this is what you want before you do it. This is a big decision, so think really hard about it and don't let anyone pressure you before you are ready. Good Luck!
Between 16-17 is average. I was 16; it was too early.
Until you are 18 years old, your parents are LEGALLY and morally responsible.. that means they have the right to FORBID you to do things up until that age...THEREFORE, if you don't want them to freak about you having sex, do NOT start it until after you turn 18 years old. That said, I KNOW you won't wait---kids seldom do so my advice to you is---IF you don't wait (and I TRULY think you should). Make sure if you are a girl that the boy HAS and USES a condom PROPERLY---if you have no clue how to use one LEARN before you have sex. You can get sexually transmitted illness that COULD EVENTUALLY KILL you or make it so you will permanently be sick and you can ALSO GET PREGNANT--and don't be fooled---MANY MANY women have gotten pregnant the very VERY FIRST TIME THEY HAD SEX.but if you were MY child and I found out you were having sex anywhere from 12 - 17 I would PROBABLY ground you until you were 18 and you could forget EVER dating ANYONE. and if you think that is too strict. just let your PARENTS know right now you are thinking of having sex and see what THEY do to you.
i would never put an age on when it would be good to start having sex. everyone is different.

this is what i say, if you are uncomfortable talking to your partner about sex then you are not ready. if you are not comfortable talking to your doctor about protection, you are not ready. also, if you are embarrassed being seen buying condoms, you are not ready!

dont have sex just because your partner wants you to, or because your friends are. or you are at the average age where people have sex for the first time...have sex when you are ready to!
