Having a D & C and have questions?

Question:
I'm going in on Friday for a D & C and a biopsy of my cervex and uteris. I've never had either of these prosedures done. Does anyone have any advice as far as what I should expect?

Answers:
Trust your doctor. Lie back close your eyes and it will be time to go home before you know it. I did feel a tiny bit sore from having them probe around, but it was such a minor pain that I forgot that I had a D & C, until your question reminded me that I had. So, I'll tell you that it was no major event in my life, I have stronger memories of going to the dentist for a cleaning than the D & C memory.

Relax, it really shouldn't be a problem.
simple procedures done on outpatient, unless other serious complications such as poor health, should take someone who can assist you getting home ect.
They will put you to sleep so you won't feel a thing when they do the surgery. When you wake up you will be groggy but ok. You will need to wear a pantyliner for a day or two but you will be ready to do your normal routine or go back to work the next day.
well , i can can give u some idea . It's a normal procedure where the gynaecologist will currete and take some sample tissue for the tests . n the lad will test it n give u the results . thats it . good luck
