Question:
Ok. I had my C-Section about 6 months ago, I cried when the shot went in and then I was out like a light for hours after. I was soooo sore waking up (you know if you've had it) and they kept me medicated in the hospital. Since being home, I've felt numb and tingly 24/7. However, these past couple of days I've been having these feelings like the day I left the hospital. That pain ... that feeling of "I can't breathe or cough or sneeze without clenching my tummy." What should I do? I'm only 19 - and I don't really have a mother I can go to.
Answers:
That is cause for concern. I have had two c-sections, but I have never experienced anything like that before. Like everyone else here has said, make an appointment with your OB/GYN as soon as possible. It's a possiblility that your incision did not heal correctly.
You need to get in touch with your doctor. The incision may not have healed properly.
i'm pretty sure epidurals can trigger anything in your body to occur... so the tingling may be signaling a bigger problem. go back to see the doctor!
i had a c-section 10 years ago, and know what that tingly feeling is like. it's wierd. it can take a year for the section to fully heal. however, the pain doesn't sound right. you should call your ob/gyn and make an appointment, to be safe.
