There could be several things going on with you body right now. One the body takes time to reajust after a pregnancy of any duration. Two it could be that you are still in pregnancy mode mentally and therefore your body is acting like it still is. Thirdly, it could be that you were carrying twins and the doctor didn't know that. I am not trying to get your hopes up but it is a possibility.

As for the test you may want to give it about a month to let your hormones get back to normal. It is true that you will still test possitive because your hormones aren't back to normal yet.
It might tell you in the leaflet in the test packet, or there will be a helpline number that you can ring and they should be able to tell you.
I'm afraid I don't know myself, but I hope that helps a bit.
Good luck and I'm sorry you've had such an awful experience.
Sometimes it can take more than a month for the hCG to leave your system after a miscarriage.
You'll need to go to your doctor to find out for sure. They should do a quantitative blood test which will measure how much hCG is in your system instead of a qualitative blood test which, like the urine test, just tells you whether hCG is present or not.
you can get caught again straight after a miscarriage as you are highly fertile, but i would suggest going to your dr's tomorrow for a blood test just to confirm this and be on the safe side.
p.s dont get your hopes up because if you was quite far along then chances are you may still have the pregnancy hormone present.
hi tinks so sorry to hear that ,if you can wait till 3months be4 you have another baby (well try)i know how you are feeling but this happened to me too ,i didn't wait and i lost the next 1 and the next 1 ,i lost 4 altogether the doc told me i wasn't giving my body time to heal i went on to having 3 more children i waited 3months after the last miscarriage ,but i can only give you my experience, hope all ok 4 u ,but try and wait ,i know its so hard ,i felt just the same all i wanted was my baby ,god bless you xx take care
sorry about your loss, i hope all goes well. if not you should see the doctor as it maybe that your hormones are kicking in which might help explain why you are putting on the weight and getting sick.

hope all goes well,
similar thing happened to me, i still felt pregnant after what they told me was miscarriage. i found that i was still pregnant and when they did a scan found i had twins and one had miscarried. dont want to get yr hopes up but it is possible. do a test and see what it says then go back to doctor and explain what is happening. good luck.
