So is douching really bad?
Question:
only helpful answer please. no crude responses we have real issues and need to know.
Answers:
Yes, douching is never really a good thing to do. If you feel like "there's something up there" again, either try to sweep it out with your fingers, or sit in a warm bath and allow the water to clean you out, WITHOUT you pushing the water up into your vagina. Clots will pass, so there's no real need for you to manually remove them from your vagina.
Douching strips your vagina of its natural yeasts and bacteria, leaving you very susceptible to infection. It should never be recommended by a doctor that knows what they're doing.
As for the clots, they may just be caused by your tilted uterus (having a tilted uterus is not a terribly uncommon condition), and how the blood flow is changed.
If you're not happy with the care or answers you're getting from your current doctor, get a second opinion! It doesn't sound like your doctor is taking your concerns seriously, and is not taking the time to give you an explanation of anything. You need a doctor that you can sit and actually talk with until you fully understand what's happening with your body.
Good luck!
