Yeast infection?

Question:
im 11 yrs old and ive gotten yeast infection more then once before. and when i was like 8, it would hurt there mainly every time i peed for like 5mins. is there something going on?

Answers:
When I was six (I am pushing thirty now) I got a yeast infection and the advice my doctor gave to me was to always wipe front to back. I know that sounds awful but I have talked to other people that it happened to as well.

Otherwise I would give you the basic advice:
keep clean
make sure you are dry before putting on underwear
only wear cotton underwear
do not wear pants or shorts that are too tight
and again, front to back wiping
talk with your mother or a trusted female.
get mom or dad to call your doctor to have yourself looked at, there might be something your doc can do for you if it keeps happening
Do you have an adult you can talk to? It sounds like you need to go to the doctor for a checkup. You should make sure it is a yeast infection and not something else.
Yeast infections don't hurt. Bladder infections do. A yeast infection itches like the dickens. Next time it happens, go to the doctor. Talk to your mom about it or a friend's mom. Have them set up a dr apt for you. If it is a yeast infection, do you itch it? It is possible you scratched hard enough to break the skin, then it may hurt when the urin touches the broken skin. I would still recommend going to the doctor though.
something is definately wrong, 11 is way young to be having frequent yeast infections although as a woman you will get them through out life. right now i think you should see a gynecologist and focus on your diet, its possible u could be diabetic and consuming alot of sugar causes your yeast levels to be higher than normal. try putting plain yougurt in the vagina ( yougurt with NO SUGAR) it will help restore the good bacteria and u should be alright.
Friend, the most common causes of infections is poor hygiene. Are you cleaning properly after wards, back to front and not front to back. Are you using the same underwear for a long time. Do you really wash very well all around. think about it. So its pretty simple. Unless there is a chemical unbalance inside there. Then you should see a doctor.
if you are on antibiotics often that is probably why because antibiotics destroy your natural, healthy bacteria. or if you have been experimenting sticking things up there it can upset your bodies natural balance. drink lots of water, stay away from sugary things, and eat yogurt! if you keep getting them you should see a doctor.
Thats quite a young age to be plagued by yeast infections. I suggest you speak to your mum. Are you on any antibiotics? Also too much carbohydrate can cause it. I found this resource useful, you can check it out for yourself http://www.cure-yeast-infectionz.com/...
