Help! is this implantation?

Question:
I am 23 and have had an irregular period from time to time. Last month I had a 4-day period..2days shorter than normal. However three weeks later (this past week) i began feeling like i was about to start my period. I have never started my period early before - it has been late if anything. Begining this Monday I have been crampy 24 hours a day..and it is Thursday and no relieve. On Monday and Tuesday I would have a clear/pink blood on the t.p. when I wiped, then Wednesday morning there was a lot of bright red blood and discharge when I wiped. I thought I had started my period, so i put a tampon in, however only used two all day...and each one was hardly messy...a little red and a tinge of brown mucasy discharge on them. However this morning there was the same bright red blood when I wiped..but I have been dry again all day. WHAT is going on!?!? I have not taken a pregnancy test b/c it seems too soon, but I am worried! I am going to the dr. next week but was wanting some opinions..

Answers:
Implantation bleeding is slight. What you are describing sounds like break through bleeding which we experience from time to time - for some reason, more so during the summer - just an observation..
I'd have to say that I think it's possible that it is implantation bleeding as it sounded like what I experienced in my last 2 pregnancies. The cramping is also a sign and not one I expected to get (and worried it meant i was miscarrying but is perfectly normal). I found with my 2nd pregnancy that I felt different within a couple of days of being pregnant and the test was a formality. With my 1st and 3rd pregnancy I didn't have as much clues that I was pregnant.

Anyway look for other signs (as they can appear very early on) - weeing loads, sore boobs, very very tired, nauseous/vomiting, cramps, headaches, constipation. (I'm sure there's loads more).

If i were you i'd take a test and then if it's negative wait about 4 days and then test again. You can buy really cheap tests on ebay and they are just as good as the main commercial ones. I've also used Asda's own versions and they were accurate too. just remember that pregnancy hormones increase with every day so if it's negative one day then it can be positive the next.

good luck hun xx
