If I took my birthcontrol perscription to a health department, would they help pay for it?

Question:
I got a prescription for ortho-tricyclen from my doctor right before my insurance dropped, so if I went to a health department would they pay for it?

Answers:
Not in any state I've lived in
If you are in the low income level they can help you or pay it all for you. You would have to make an appointment tell them your income. They will give you maybe 6 packs or more.
Not at the Health Dept you can't, not their area. You might try planned parenthood or if you qualify for medicaid (welfare medical insurance) you could get it there. Otherwise you will have to join the rest of us and actually pay for it yourself.
