Vaginal yeast infection...??

Question:
i hav all the symtoms of it but cant go c a doc nw..
so will there b any effects of the infecton if i dont treat it for another year or so?what are the possible things that could happen if not treated?can it increase or become worser?

Answers:
For another year?? Yeast infections can become quite bad if they are left untreated. If you seriously believe you have a vaginal yeast infection you should get treatment, if you really can't afford or don't have time for treatment try eating at least 1 yogurt each day, or purchasing an over the counter yeast infection cream like Monistat.

Hope this helps. :-)
infertility, you could get worse stuff though.

If you can't see a doc, and thus can't get a prescription drug, try asking what's available over the counter. Also, a lot of times for many people including myself, pro-biotics work very well. You can get them at health food stores or vitamin/suplament stores. Make sure it's the one for female organs and *not* the usual stomach/digestive pro-biotic.
yes it can you have to see a doctor or get over the counter drugs for it or it will get worse why cant you go to a doctor?
Go to walmart and get Gentin Violet ( I think that is how it is spelled). It only costs about $3. It is this purple stuff they use to coat babies mouth's with when they had thrush which is a yeast infection in the mouth. I don't think they use it anymore because it has a small percentage of alcohol but it works wonder. It will stain your clothes so wear something old and a pad. Also a yeast infection is up inside as well. So coat a tampon with the purple stuff and keep it in over night. Don't forget to take it out. One application should be enough. Don't exceed over 3 days.
Yeast infections can cause severe discomfort but rarely cause serious health problems. Left untreated, vaginal yeast infections often clear up on their own, usually when menstruation begins. Menstrual blood raises the vaginal pH, causing the number of yeast cells to decrease because they can't grow in the pH present during menstruation.

Recurring yeast infections may be difficult to prevent or cure. There are significant differences between occasional, easily treatable yeast infections and recurring infections that seriously affect a woman's life. Women who have recurring yeast infections should be tested for underlying causes so that the appropriate treatment can be chosen.
You really should get it treated. You may not be able to afford a visit to the doctor, but think of how much it might cost if you don't take care of the problem soon enough. One way to handle it is to get an OTC remedy like Monistat. They treat a variety of common yeast strains. Yogurt is also really good for it too. Make sure you get the kind with LIVE CULTURES. Eat a couple of them every day until the infection is gone. Keeping yogurt in your diet regularly (maybe 1 a day) is a really good way to prevent yeast infections.
if u can't go to the doctor go to the store ... buy monistat or vagisil
Your follow up post said that you had a bad odor and lots of liquid. That sounds like bacterial vaginosis, not a yeast infection. You really need to see a doctor to get it cleared up.
go get some "Monistat' and use it as directed it is an over the counter cream that will clear up the infection in 3-7 days depending on which one you get, do not let the infection continue without treatment when it is so easy to just go to the store and buy the medication that will cure it...i hope this helps!
