Hey first thanks for answering. second my question is im on Yaz birth control and currently on the white pills (i have my period) the only problem is my birthday is on friday and i still have 1 pill left before i go on the new pack. is it okay if i skip the last pill and just start a new pack. i dont want my period on my birthday and im going to the beach. so i heard it was okay but i just want to be sure. thanks

Yup, it's okay to switch back to the colored pills. However, if your body isn't quite done with your period, the bleeding won't stop right away. Some women completely skip their periods while on birth control, by never taking the white pills at all. This isn't the best plan for your body, and can whack up your hormones a bit, but I've never heard of it causing major complications.
