Is it possible to be allergic to feminine pads?

I have sometimes found this to be a problem as well, but never thought of allergies nessecerily, just that perhaps dampness causes a similar problem that causes babies' nappy rash/diaper rash. Try changing them more often, using a baby wipe/feminine wipe/wet washcloth when you change the pad, and see if that helps.
It's entirely possible to be allergic - same as anyone being allergic to certain perfumes etc on their skin. Look for less processed things (sorry, don't know the brands there!), unbleached, unperfumed, things like that.
Try tampons.
I've met some women who have a problem using Always pads because of the kind of material used on the pads to try and catch the flow. What some of these women are doing is using a kind of pad called Glad Rags or other similar natural type menstrual protection and have had good results with it.
I get a bit of a rash sometimes under the pad - similar to babies diaper rash, I suppose. This happens whether I use Always or Kotex or other pads. I don't think you are allergic - it's probably caused because they make you hot due to the plastic or whatever. I use a bit of baby talc after bathing and change the pads regularly and also use as small ones as I can get away with. Having said all that, if your itching is really bad, it COULD be allergy, but I've just never heard of that before.
yes - get one that has no fragrances, or dyes.
