i have recently finnished my normal period around the 4th aug.my hubby and i had intercourse as soon as i finnished but practiced safe sex as we have been for the last 2 years but then again 3 days ago where we did not practice safe sex as we've decided to try for another child.only i am bleeding again like a normal period without any warning like i normally get.saying that i did have some abdominal pain in the last 24 hrs. i'm not due for another10- 15 days by my calculation.may seem silly but could i be bleeding because of the shock of ejaculation as it's been so long? could it be that i'm miscarrying although it's only been 3 days? could it be something else, i'm just a bit concerned as it's so soon after my last period and i usually get a little more warning but i'm bleeding like i'm 1-2 days into it. would it be worth doing a pregnancy test as i'm sure it wouldn't even detect anything yet would it.i've not taken the pill for 2yrs and am no more stressed than normal,whats up?

It may be a hormone hiccough, but no harm in doing a test.
Any bleeding in between periods should be investigated by your doctor as soon as possible, especially if it is after intercourse. Please don't leave it pressuming it will go away. It may be northing to worry about, but you must get it checked out.

I was the same every two wks, went to my Dr & she sent me to the Gynae Dr who said I needed a D & C (Scrape) after that all was well.
I would see your Dr for a check up just to be safe
