[[ is it true that if u r on the pill, u dont have to take the last 7 pills in the package? ]]?
Question:
Answers:
if they are 28 day pills the last 7 are "dummy" pills, so you don't really need to take them, it just keeps you in the habit of 1 pill per day. If you have 21 day pills you have 7 pill free days. Never miss any of the 21 day ones and never miss the first 21 in a pack of 28 day pills..
this is for the combined pill not sure about how the "mini pill" works
the last 7 are placebos, so yes it's true
That's true. They are just placebo pills (sugar-pills, usually) that are there to keep you in the habit of taking a pill every day. But, technically speaking, you don't need to take them.
True...they're mainly there to keep you in the habit of taking the pill daily...and to remind you when to get a refill.
i always heard to take all the pills and not miss an pill that one pill could cost you 18 years
there sugar pills. I never take them.
yes, its true. theres nothing in them, they are just there to keep you in the habit of taking them. so if you are likely to forget to start your next pack the following week, i would keep taking them.
It depends on how the cycle of your pack. 28 days = skip NO days
21 = skip a week and then start new pack.

With some kinds of birth control this is true (you really need to check with the pharmacist or doctor). Some birth control pills are to be taken for twenty-one days, and they give you seven sugar pills to take at the end of twenty-one days, so that you don't get out of the habit of taking pills daily and miss your pill when it is time to start the real pills again.
That depends on if you're taking a 21 or 28 cycle. If you have 28 pills, then yes, it's true. The last 7 pills do not provide you the hormones that the "regular" pills do. When your body doesn't receive the hormones, it knows to start your cycle. They give you the pills to keep you in the habit of taking one each day.
yup. i think for me, the last week of pills have like some kind of supplements in them, but they`re not birth control pills.
That is right. You can wait a week and then start on the new pack.
Or, you can start on the new pack immediately and skip the period. That would be my preference. It is not a real period that is brought on anyway.
this is only true for certain pills. when i was on micrgynon there were only 21 pills so you could go straight onto the next pack. im now on the mini pill and none of the 28 are inactive as this would lead to a decrease in the effectiveness of the pill. if you have a pack that conatins 7 pills that are differently coloured to the rest they are placebo pills and you dont have to take them as they have no effect.
no you don't.
those are considered to remind you that you're about to get your period.
and they are sugar pills.
most birth control pills well the last 7 ones speed up your period more.
So it doesnt matter if you do or dont take them.
if you want to remind yourself then yes take them.
but they are just considered as sugar pills.
