Round ligament pain?
Question:
Sorry this was so long!!
Answers:
Good. You seem to have covered the basics. You did the preg test. And even if you were so early preg that the test couldn't catch it, we mommies know that pain all too well, and know it doesn't start out in week1. :)
But you do know what that pain is, after that first pregnancy, we know EXACTLY what that pain is. :) Don't we?
But you don't have to be pregnant to pull a muscle or ligament.
Back when I was in high school, I pulled a muscle in my stomach. I got off the bus, and was walking up a hill to school, like I'd done many times before. I didn't trip or fall or turn too fast or anything. Just all of a sudden, this horrible pain, and I couldn't even lift my foot high enough to keep going up the hill. I saw 5 doctors in 2 days before someone knew what it was. They searched for appendicitis, ovarian cysts, everything. Then the woman doing an ultrasound picked up an abnormality in the muscle in my lower abdomen. She said she'd never have known what it was, except another girl had had the same problem not 6 mos before.
Take it easy for a few days, let it heal. If it gets worse, or won't get better, or if it hurts too much to deal with, see a doctor. Mine just gave me pain meds and told me to stay in bed a couple of days, and slowly but surely it healed itself back up.
Just one woman's story. Good luck.
