There is one brand of pill in particular called Dianette. I know of a few people who have had varying degrees of spots to acne and they have all said it really helped them. Their skin improved quite dramatically. I dont think that every type of contraceptive pill has the same effect but if you speak to your doctor about Dianette in particular they may be able to confirm this.
I think it just applies to your skin in general. Some pills just cause you to be less oily probably. If you are worried about your skin, go to a dermatologist. If you want to control your period and just happen to want slightly clearer skin too, talk to your general practitioner or gyno about what pill it right for you.
Two contraceptive pills often do help acne, Dianette, which has the greatest effect, but unfortunately has twice the clot risk of conventional pills, and Yasmin. Other pills sometimes make acne worse!
there are certain types of contraceptive pills that claim to help with acne . i'm not too sure if this occurs with just the odd pimple or so . Hormones are a big thing and if you are getting the pill to control your hormones as well as the obvious reason for using it then yeah i would think that it would help. I am using the contraceptive patch which i find is great. i've had no side effects from it and you only have to apply it once a week.its called evra . maybe you should consider that ?
it helped mine a little bit but still get them would not say to go on the pill just for that though
ive heard loads of things about the pill apparantly hey make your bobs bigger but it didnt work for me. its to do with your hormones and how the pill works with yours so i wouldnt take that to heart as it more than likely wont work.
