Will this effect me?
Question:
I have good reasons.
Answers:
Lack of sleep does have a negative effect on the body. Although 2 days is not very long to go without sleep, I would definitely warn you not to drive, as your response time will be impaired. The real concern is what are you using to stay awake? Use of stimulants can affect the heart and other vital organs.
Your body will be the one to tell you pretty quickly that you need sleep. You begin to slow down, you can become disoriented. It is best to set up a regular sleep pattern and keep yourself on that same pattern. If you are going to go out and stay out part of the evening, try to find some time before or after to make up the time you will miss in your sleep. When you are young, you need the rest - the older you get, the less you really need, but if you develop a good pattern, it can give you a lifetime of comfort.
duh it'll effect u go see ur doctor so he can help
Lack of sleep can do all sorts of things to the body; staying awake for 48+ hours is seriously NOT advisable.
Once the body starts to experience sleep deprivation, it is not recommended that you drive, operate heavy machinery or do other dangerous activities, because lack of sleep effects the brain in similar ways as alcohol, but to a much more extreme degree.
Furthermore, you may experience physical symptoms, such as severe headache, nausea and vomiting, and eventually the body WILL simply shut down and you'll find yourself sleeping without realizing it (this is why you should NOT drive).
I don't think it is a good idea
generally a human should have a total of 8 hrs sleep in a 24 hour period. Some need more, some need less. It is not healthy to stay awake for long periods of time as you suggest. Good reasons or not it places you at risk for accidents, etc. due to fatigue. It also causes a body to have a weaker state which increases risk for illness.
