Skipped period while on birth control pill Yaz?

Question:
I started taking the Yaz birth control pill almost a month ago. I took all of the pink (active) pills and have taken three of my four white (non active) pills and I still haven't gotten my period. I've always had my periods exactly 28 days apart. Has this happened to anyone else? Or does anyone know if this is normal? Any response/comment would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Answers:
anytime you take a new bcp it can take 3 mths for it to get regulated. meaning it can take 3 mths for your body to get used to it. you can have spotting between periods, no periods, heavy periods, nausea, headaches...etc ..
its all normal and can last for 3 mths
You should have gotten a cycle. If you don't get a cycle by the time you start you next new pack, get a blood HCG test, and if it's neg you can start the next pack. You might not have built up enough lining to slough, or you could be pregnant. Yaz is a low dose pill and may not have stopped your ovulation.

It is normal for our bodies to go a bit out of wack when you start a new OCP. You shouldn't worry. If it doesn't start next month, call your dr.
