ok well i got my period a few months ago, and on the exact same day the next month i got it again, (like, practically within the same hour) and then this month its exactly one week late (but i have it now) i guess all this is normal, but i was wondering, is it normal for it to change colour during the days you ave it? like, mine started off browny coloured, then went really dark red, then bright red, then purpaly black, then brown, over a few days. im not really worried but i was just curious to see if its normal. thanks.

everything sounds normal except for the purple black color you talked about, i've never heard that before, the other ones like brown, that is completly normal!

Yes, everything that is happening is normal. The first few years your period can be messed up/irregular because it's trying to understand and regulate itself. The brown is old blood either from your last period or from sitting in your uterus to long this period. The dark red is you seeing blood the just came out within an hour or so. Bright red is a little older blood. Purple black is blood that is also fresh but could be mixed with clots. And all of this changing in a few days is fine it's even fine to happen in one day. Don't worry your fine!

Yes this is normal and you will pass blood clots too - also normal.
