What more or less and iud?
I have be on 3 different birth controls and none of them are working to treat my endometriosis. i am on depo now. i hold severe pain sour and on. it's the worst after sex. i pass huge blood clots after sex. i can scarcely move my legs and lower abdomen. i own no clue what is going on. my doctor suggested and iud. would that really help because it is purely another method of birth control?

I hold the Mirena myself and LOVE it. No more messing with pills or shots. For the recent past 3 years I have not have a single menstrual cycle. The device releases a hormone to thin the pool liner of the uterus wall. If your doctor suggests that is the subsequent best thing, later I would go for it.
Edit: I have bad endometriosis near heavy period and horrible cramping. The Mirena has eliminate all dull pain.
