HPV shot bump.?

Question:
I recently got the HPV shot, [a week and a half or so] and I just noticed yesterday that a bump has formed in the area where the shot was given, is this cause for worry? or part of the shot?

Answers:
the gardisil shot for HPV has many common side effects. When i got mine a bump formed also. My doctor said it was nothing to worry about unless it becomes red and irratated. Your doctor should have given you a pamphlet telling you all the information needed about this shot.
Hmm...Well so far I've had two of them and while they were very painful, I never got a bump. I think one of the side-effects is a bump on the site where you got shot. A week afterwards though - seems liek it should be gone. Give it some time and if it's still there or it starts to hurt I'd just give the doc a call back
