I bled for about three weeks after giving birth to my son, then spotted on and off for a month. After that, I started having regular periods. So... It took me about three months to get back to normal.
When you take your boy in for a checkup, ask the doctor.
It often takes many weeks if you are breast feeding, less if you are not, but at 11 weeks you are still within the norm. I have seen a number of women pregnant at the 6 week post natal over the years, so do check that this is not the case if you have been sexually active.
If you are breastfeeding, your periods may not come back until your baby is weaned. Some methods of contraception, including Depo-Provera injections or Implanon implants also suppress menstruation.
If you're bottle feeding and not using hormonal contraception, I would have expected your periods to have returned by now.
Are you absolutely sure you're not pregnant? If you're not using contraception and you've felt up to sex, you could conceive within a few weeks of giving birth.
Why not see your GP if you're worried?
In the meantime, enjoy your son :-)
If you were my missus straight away I cant remember the last time I saw the horses collar
