In my experience I did not feel a thing it just came, but some friends have told me they felt cramps before their got their period.

Ask your mom around what age she started her period and you can Usually expect the same, give or take a year to a couple of months. Also ask her if she had the same thing [cramps before she started her period for a longer period of time].
I think it's safe to say, that since you have all the signs for getting your period, that you're going to get it pretty soon.

I remember the day I first got my period I had had horrible cramps... so I'm guessing that you'll probably get yours soon if you're showing all the signs. It could also be gas pains, but for a whole month? Maybe not. If they're just mild cramps and they've been getting a little worse, it could be your period or it could be something else. Talk to your mom though, because I'm sure she could help you more than anyone on here.
