Periods ..?
Question:
I want to know if I can make my period come on this week, i'm due in 2 weeks, but go on holiday with my friend next Friday, I am due on the Sunday, and we are going to be swimming in the sea, and I am not going to use tampons b/c I hate them.
The doc told me to go on the pill, but it is too late now.
Please help, thx

Sorry to say but there is nothing you can do to make your periods come on this week.
Why do you hate tampons ?
They actually aren't that bad, just be calm and relax when you use them.
I prosume that you went to the doctors about you irregular periods ? Did you know that periods can be irregular for a womans whole lifetime ?
It is nothing to worry about, I've had mine for 6 years and they still aren't 100% regular !
You also will bleed in the sea, unlike what the person at the top said.
Also, going on the pill will just make your periods slightly more regular. Have a great holiday hun, and don't let the period get in the way, simply change your pad every 3 hours ( Or when you go to the toilet ) And use a tampon in the sea - or you could sunbathe instead )
well unless your an alien you wont bleed while your in the water.
If you can afford it, go to www.divacup.com and buy the product. It's much better than tampons and pads. You don't have to throw it out until you're 35 or have a baby. You save A LOT of money in the end. Also, it's WAY more comfy than tampons, and especially pads. You should have it by the time you're supposed to go on holiday. If not, you may just have to bear wearing tampons while you swim, or just not go swimming.
Sorry hun, but the only way to make your period come around the same time every month is to be on the pill.

No. There is no way to make your period start sooner and no way to delay it. And sorry to say, you do bleed in the water. Don't worry about being irregular at this point. I started at age 11. I'm now 20 and my periods have only been regular in the last year. You can consider going on the pill to help regulate your period, but it is too late for your upcoming vacation. Why do you hate tampons? They are perfectly safe if used correctly. If they are uncomfortable try using the smallest ones. They are more comfortable than pads that feel like diapers and much more sanitary. Don't be afraid to use them. Read the instructions and try it.

You can't make them come faster. The pill WOULD work, but it's too late now.
Why do you hate tampons? If you are going swimming, you HAVE to use them. it's either that or stay out of the water. Water does NOT stop a period.
