everyone is different and it usually is hereditary. The ages the other people have said is correct but there are always a few differnt ones. I started my period right before i turned 7 and i had to have tests done and everything (very traumatic) to rule out a tumor. But it turned out it was just "Precocious Puberty". Just started young. I actually did a research project on it in college and its more common than your would think. Worse part is that when you are that young, you don't know how to handle it well and tampons are out of the question forseveral years. Also the earlier you start. the LATER you wil go through menapause! crazy huh? If she hasn't started her period yet, i wouldn't worry about it. If she has and you think she is too young, take her to a doctor to rule out a tumor and then just make sure you let her teacher know that if she has to go to the bathroom, she needs to let her go! lol
It varies alot, but typically happens around the time mensturation begins. But it can start anywhere from age 8 to age 15, really does depend.

i started going through all of that when i was fourteen almost fifteen but i might be a late bloomer when compared to my best friend who started it when she was eleven. take her to the doctor just to be sure though :)
Don't worry about it. Should start with puberty. I got one, yes ONE, hair when I was six. Go figure. It started coming in at about 12. Pubic hair is not going to kill your daughter, silly. It is not indicative of any strange future behavior or precociousness. You didn't mention hos old your daughter is.

Due to improving nutrition, kids are developing at a younger age, or so I've heard. As for me, I started developing pubic hair when I was about 11 - I THINK. I got discharge for the first time when I was ten. I remember my chest started aching and then developing when I was 11, but I think I didn't wear a bra until I was 14, which was the age I was when I got my first period.
