ages range from 10-16
all girls get it at different ages... you could get it later in life, or it could unexpectedly come next week or something.. it all depends if your body is ready for it i guess.. dont worry you are normal..
it comes from your vagina.. you can ask your sex ed teacher if you have one.. or someone you feel comfortable asking (preferably a woman) like your mom, your sister.. dont be afraid to ask, if you dont ask you'll neverr know. :)
hope this helps ;)
good luck
You can get your period at any age from really young like 9 to teenage 18. If your a healthy teen as you say you are, don't worry, you'll have many years to come to look forward to a period. The blood flows from uterus out through your vagina, the largest hole down there above your anus. Vagina for sex, periods, childbirth. Your urethra above your vagina is where your pee comes from.
Girls in the U.S. normally get their periods around age 12, although some as early as 9 and some as late as 16. The average age has dropped in the past 50 years, which to many is not seen as a good thing-- but as a result of a diet heavy in meat and dairy products. You are probably perfectly normal. If you don't get it this year, you could visit a doctor and get checked out to see if there is anything abnormal. No, your period comes from your vagina which is a different opening from your urethra. You would have to look at a diagram in a book of anatomy. But blood and urine don't come from the same place. Good luck, and don't worry!
I'm 13 and I got my period when I just turned 12. The average age is maybe 13. But I know a lot of girls who had their periods already by the time they were 12. I don't know..maybe those are just my friends.
are you really athletic? that could be putting it off
or you could take after your dads mom

my mom was done growing when she was 14, i havent started growing yet
