tell your mom to get you a book on puberty cause you need to be educated but i got my period at 9 where my cousin at 15 the same year we are going through menopause at the same time too so who knows when its normal .when you get it it is normal

all girls get it at different ages... you could get it later in life, or it could unexpectedly come next week or something.. it all depends if your body is ready for it i guess.. dont worry you are normal..
it comes from your vagina.. you can ask your sex ed teacher if you have one.. or someone you feel comfortable asking (preferably a woman) like your mom, your sister.. dont be afraid to ask, if you dont ask you'll neverr know. :)

You can get your period at any age from really young like 9 to teenage 18. If your a healthy teen as you say you are, don't worry, you'll have many years to come to look forward to a period. The blood flows from uterus out through your vagina, the largest hole down there above your anus. Vagina for sex, periods, childbirth. Your urethra above your vagina is where your pee comes from.

I'm 13 and I got my period when I just turned 12. The average age is maybe 13. But I know a lot of girls who had their periods already by the time they were 12. I don't know..maybe those are just my friends.
