Unusual birth control situation...?
Question:
What should I do? I now have three inactive pills left in the pack; should I restart? The pamphlet only says what to do if you forget three in a row and don't eventually remember to take them: all this happened days apart from each other and I always remembered to take the pills about twelve hours later. Please help!

Why not skip all the inactive pills and go right on to a new active pack. you will not have a period but will be protected.
At the end of this active pack take your inactive pills as usual-you will then have your period.Start a new packet then again
You seem to have a habit of forgetting pills-a simple trick which I advise patients to do which seems to work is attach your pill packet to your tooth brush.with an elastic band
YOU CLEAN YOUR TEETH YOU TAKE YOUR PILL
It does not matter what time you routinely take it -the time you always clean your teeth. When you clean in the morning take pill-when you clean at night check that you did take it in the morning.

I would wait for your period and then start with a new pack.
i would call my dr and check with him but i would make sure if you are going to have sex to use a condem.
you can finish this pack and only take 3 inactive pills and then start a new pack. dont be surprised if you dont have a period as the inactive phase will be short. take a pregnancy test weekly to be sure you are not pregnant, if you get a positive just stop taking the pills altogether. seriously though, you really need to either get your act together with your pill taking regimen or switch to another form of bc. this type of behavior is exactly how girls get their "pill babies" , you are really tempting fate here with all these missed pills and catching up and then taking the wrong pills. consider the ring or the patch
