I have been having periods every 2 weeks for the last 2 months (full, not spotting). What could cause this?

Question:
I am 31, have had 2 children (age 3 1/2 and 1 1/2) the last one by C-section. I am taking the mini pill, as I have been nursing, but am only nursing my son once a day now. I also started taking Prozac a few months ago. I am a little overweight (5'7", 175 lbs.) and have been under quite a bit of stress for the last year. I have read a little online about this and know that there are several possible reasons for this, but would like more info. I had my thyroid checked when I started the Prozac, and it was fine.

Answers:
Could be other kinds of hormone problems such as Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. Also, sometimes infections can cause bleeding like this to occur. Medication is a 3rd possibility for the cause of this.

I would recommend getting back in touch with your doctor for further evaluation to see what else it could be.
