How does and early miscarriage feel?

Question: From at least 4-6 week? What does the blood look like? How do the cramps feel? Do the cramps go on for days? Is the cramping stronger than period cramps? Do you clot this early?

I apologize in advance to anyone, but I just would like to know from others experiences. Thanks!

My friend just had one, she was six weeks along. She said that she'd been bleeding heavily and cramping a lot. I went out with her today (this started on Thursday when we were shopping) and she was still cramping but not bleeding anymore. It could be Implantation Bleeding if you're pregnant but the cramps shouldn't be more than just a slight discomfort if everything is normal.

I've never had a baby so I don't really "know" any of this but my Mom has been an ob/gyn for 20 years so I've heard a lot of this stuff from her. Hope this helps, however insignificant it may be. Good luck.
