personally i liked the patch. i never had any problems with it but i heard a lot of stuff about it. i don't know if they will still prescribe that though. Ive also tried the depo (shot) gained a lot of weight on it so that was a big no no. most recently i tried the new chewable pill called femcon fe but that made me sick to my stomach so now all i use is condoms. i think condoms is the best way to go also helps prevent STD's if used correctly.
I'm on seasonal .. works just fine, no cramps, no weight gain, and i only get my period every 3 months :) and it definatly works .. i'm not pregnant again!
The pill. It helps with the time of the month, and it doesn't really affect the body. If your guy uses a condom at the same time, it will help prevent sexually transmitted diseases.
Babysitting children with ADHD who are not on medication.
The mirena is the best! My gyn actually uses it herself. It is an IUD that is made of plastic, not copper. It has a small amt. of progesterone in it. It basically stops your periods. It's 99.99% effective. (more than the pill). It's good for 5 years, but you can have it taken out at any time. It is a simple procedure they do right in the doctor's office. Very easy. Everyone I know that has it, loves it.
The kind of birth control that prevents all STDs, is 100% effective, has no side effects, is all natural and has no artificial hormones, and is completely free: abstinence. If you don't have enough self-control for that (or if you're married and want to control the size of your family), at least keep track of the days when you're most likely to get pregnant and don't have sex on those days.
really your doctor can prescribe what is best for you but... some good brands are ortho-tryclen lo when it comes time for your period it stop all the symptoms like bloating and cramps. It work very well for me
