For exercise walking is a great way to help lose weight. For eating I would recommend keeping an eye on portion sizes. Some also like to count calories but I find watching portion size a lot easier. Also, eating lots of fruits and veggies and drinking a lot of water can help with weight loss.
The thing about the drinking water is that it helps clear out the toxins in our body such as some of the fat.
