The inside? You mean way inside? You need to buy yourself a douche and read the directions. Try vinegar and water first, see if that takes care of your cleanliness.
The outside you can clean with a good cleaner from any store--Summer's Eve is what I use (you will find them in the feminine products aisle). Everything comes with directions.

I don't know where everyone gets the idea that douches are bad for you. I use them and I don't get any bad reactions and every girl I know uses them.
If you want to be clean inside and out, use a douche. Once a month after your menstrual cycle should be enough.
You should not wash your vaginal area. The vagina is a self cleaning oriface and if you use soap or other products there you can cause problems and infections.

I wash my privates very gently with some moisturising soap and my hand. I first take the soap in my hand, lather it up and then rub it on my area. After a min or so, I wash off the soap.
For the inside i do not use any soap. I insert a clean finger and gently move it inside my slit and then wash off my finger.
