Help, please? Nuva Ring users?
Question:
I just started using the Nuva Ring; I'm on the second week.
I inserted the first ring on the first day of bleeding of my last period... ok, that was... 16 days ago... and I STILL HAVE MY PERIOD!
What the heck?? Before I had the Ring, my periods were 7-9 days, tops...
Is this a normal thing?? Help!

BTW i know its weird that I (emphasize the I) answered this, but i knew nothing about it until you asked. I just researched and answered as best as i could because it seemed no one else was going to. If it was me (yeah right) id stick with regular 'devices' not hormonal.
I have not experienced this with NuvaRing ever.
I suggest you call your gynecologist and ask him/her what's going on. If you can't get in touch with the office until Monday, call your pharmacist or a 24 hour pharmacy and ask about this.
