Your pads for other reasons?

Question:
ladies, when you go out (like for drinks or movies), have you ever worn a pad because in case you can't find a loo on time? I'm young and I haven't had a baby but unfortunately i had to do this a couple of times and now i'm seeing a urologist about it.. if you have, please share your experience and what you did about it...

answers by non-pregnant ladies only and prefer ladies who haven't had babies before. i know pregnancy causes leakage too

HELLO THERE KELLY M,
Unfortunately, I have this problem also...I spring leaks from time to time..mostly if I sneeze too hard or cough too hard and the funniest one is when I laugh too hard..i do not know what I would do without my Poise pads. I use the Regular size and they work just fine for me and come in very handy in a pinch....... you know what i mean? I want to wish you the best of luck with your "little" problem in the future ! LOL
I've had to wear a pantyliner, yes.

Have you tried doing Kegal exercises? If you haven't and don't know how to do them, next time you're urinating, squeeze so that the urine flow is stopped.you just learned how to do Kegal exercises. Kegals exercise your pelvic floor muscles so that it will possibly make your vagina "tighter" and help with "leaking" sometimes. Just do this as often as you want, as many times as you want, wherever you want.
You use poise pads and change them as needed. They are made to soak up urine leakage. If your not pissing a river you should not have any problems.

If your urinating a lot best to use a depend until you can see your doctor.
