What is causing my sore boobs?

Question:
I had a miscarriage a week ago at 5 weeks along. The sore boobs started when I was just barely pregnant. And it still hasn't gone away. I never had this symptoms with my other 3 pregnancies. But now I'm worried that the sore boob symptom hasn't gone away even though my HCG levels have gone down. I won't be able to be seen by my doctor for another 3 weeks. So I wanted to get some opinions while I'm waiting. I was wondering what hormones cause this symptom, and how long it takes after a miscarriage for those hormones to go away? Or if I should be concerned about something else causing my soreness?

Answers:
Hormones do crazy things! I would not be concerned until after 6 weeks. Mine did the same thing for almost 8 weeks. It was the last thing to "get back to normal".
so sorry about ur loss.

it takes time, every pregnancy is different. can u call ur doctors office and speak to the nurse? she may have some words of comfort and advice. u need all the support u can get. i wouldn't worry about it being anything else.
