How can I delay my period?


Question:
So I was supposed to start my period about a week ago, and i still havent. I'm fairly certain it was due to some near-starvation-dieting i was doing a few weeks ago. I have been eating normally for quite awhile now though, and yet my period has not returned. (I tired everything I heard about to make it start, from eating parsley to pushing my abdomen muscles)

On Tuesday I leave for a week-long vacation at the beach, which is going to be miserable, because i'll either be on my period the whole time, or worried about it starting.

I'm only 15, and birth control-esque things aren't an option. Any ideas on how to delay the start of it justp ast this next week? I'll try anything, although going back to starving myself isn't exactly at the top of the preferred list...

I always find that stressing out helps delay it (I'm being completely serious) and running usually starts it, so try not to run around as much. Once I did a handstand for a couple minute which helped start it, so don't do that either.
I really dont belive it is pasoble... A body has life functions that need to happen... It might be but there might be a bad catch to it...
i dont think there is a way to delay the start of your period...sorry.
Your period doesn't have to ruin your beach vacation. Use tampons if you start and don't worry too much about it. I say this because without birth control pills, there is no way to delay your period. And you're right... starving yourself again would definitely be an unadvisable decision.

Please stop punishing your body. I don't think this body obsession of yours is normal or healthy. First you nearly starve yourself to death and now you want to find a way to delay your period? Please stop it! Now! You're 15 for God's sake! ugh
Sweetie, I'm afraid you're out of luck. Just get a fresh box of tampons, or my favorite "Instead" menstration cups, a big pack of Advil or Midol and enjoy your vacation.

I freaked out about this stuff too when I was 15, you'll get used to it over the next few years. You just need to figure out the best way to deal with it for you.
You will just have to deal with it hun. A few weeks isn't reall a long enough while, for your body to heal from the damage you cause when you starved it. Why would you do that to yourself anyway? Fairly certaint that this is why you are not having a period also raises the Question, pregnant?
don't starve yourself. you're going to mess up your body. aside from messing up your menstral cycle, you can mess up your heart and all kinds of things. i don't know how to stop it aside from hormones/birth control, pregnancy, or things like starvation... it might take awhile to catch up with you if you messed your cycle up.. just try and enjoy or vacation, and stop stressing about it. take better care of yourself in the meantime..
