I'm a size 10 and I way between 130 and 135 pounds. I'm thin and muscular, and I'm like 5'8". I think I'm a healthy weight, but I'm not so thin that I look bad. Your friend needs to stop, unless she wants to hurt herself. Tell her that size 10 is prefered by men (because it is...), and tha she will drive herself into an eating disorder if she continues in this fashion.

Im very sorry but i dont know what it is but i think that nobody in life needs to go on a diet but just for people to eat right and get enough exercise. You should tell her that she doesnt need changing but if she still goes against that maybe try to arange exercise days together where you can run to the shops or something like that.
Eat only when hungry and not more than thrice a day. Nothing other than water in between. Include plenty of uncooked vegetables and fruits in each meal, preferably 50%. Chew each morsel at least 32 times to activate ur body to generate signals of hunger/fullness. Obey these signals.
Take light exercises and brisk walks regularly preferably twice a day.
U will achieve what u have not even dreamt and that too in a reasonable time. Do not be in a hurry. It is however to be noted that one cannot change the shape or size of different parts of the body.
