Do thongs/g-strings cause irritation and infections?

Question:

Answers:
THey can cause irritations. Make sure you are clean down there. Maybe rotate regular undies every other day..or just wear G-strings on special occasions.
I never experienced such things.
If you have a yeast infection - usually from wearing tight jeans - then a g-string does make it more likely that the yeast infection will also affect your anus too.
Wearing tight pants causes more problems than the g-string does.
Some say they do. As long as you wear cotton ones rather than any other material you will be ok.
Yes they can, but that dosen't mean that you can't wear them.
Just not everyday and make sure that they fit properly.
Dr. Gent says
"G-strings can abrade and injure the sensitive skin around the genital area, especially if they are too tight or made with badly stitched material."
Irritation? Sweetie, all undies cause irritation. ;)

Infections can be avoided by washing with anti-bacterial soap, and wiping from front to back. Also, I've found that going pee before and after sex helps avoid UTI's.
because the part of the string that touches your butt, can also touch your vagina and all that poop bacteria can get inside of you.
