Girls please help!!?

Question:

okay, so my friends always have a summer party that usually involves swimming for three hours, playing video games, etc. the past two years were no problemo, however, this year, im supposed to start my period on the day of a 9-hour swimming party!! now, besides learnimg to control the weather to make it storm heehee... ne ideas of how to tell a bunch of guys why you can't swim? please help! thanks! <3

You can still swim. How do you think those professional swimmers who are girls do it? Tampons. Remember the movie Carrie when they all threw tampons at her telling her to plug it up? The professional swimmers plug it with a tampon. If you insert the tampon correctly, you will be able to swim without letting everyone know that you're on your period. I've also gone swimming with tampons. I started at an early age with my period and I remember being terrified going into the water because of it. I had this nightmare that I will turn around in the pool and see red water behind me.. But I didn't.. I learned this from my mother and older sisters who are active in sports.. Tampons are your best friend.. Trust me.. You don't have to tell anyone that you have your period. Just wing it.. Now if a guy tries to get frisky with you just kick him the nuts.. You'll be ok.

wear a tampon and you can swim without having to make up excuses

just tell them u feel sick or use tampons.or just tell them ur on ur period i do they just say ohhh

You can swim - if you can use a tampon. - Just change it after you get out of the water.

Well why not swim? Just use a tampon. They arent that bad. As long as you put them in right you'll be fine. I started my period on the day that we got to florida but i used one and swam in the ocean. So it really isnt that big of a deal. Guys are so lucky tho!!

tell them you have an earache either from swimming or sinuses or something and the water will make it worse.

well use a tampon, just take your bag in every 4 or so hours to change it. man a 9 hour swimming party. wow. or just say your not in the mood, you got stiches so you your not allowed to swim, or just not go.

im guessing u havent used a tampon! if not then if u feel coftrable learning how 2 wear them then go 4 it!! :) they are better than pads, buy a box.. i suggest tampax pearl.. try buying the multipack to see which absorbency works for u!! also u cant wear a pad swimming so its the tampon or u will just hafta sit out which is a bummer! good luck and have fun!
