Girl to girl help!?

it's not unusual. don't push because you may be at the wrong angle and hitting the wrong place, and that hurts. Try to be gentle while your learning and no shoving, if the angle doesn't quit feel right, it isn't try again. I also use lubricant on mine. You'll get it and then you won't even have to think about it. Be patient and go slow.
Put a little lubricant like vaseline on the tip.
It may hurt the first few times but after a while you'll learn how to do it properly without it hurting.
Your mom's great for talking you through it - ask herif she has any water-based lubricant - it will make the insertion a little more comfortable. Make sure you're putting it in far enough - the nerve endings are less sensitive the farther it goes in. When it's in right you'll hardly feel it.
yes its normal to hurt for like a few minutes but if it keeps hurting your putting it in wrong
for me it hurt the first few times, but then i got used to it.
try sitting on the floor and relaxing your vaginal muscles. point the tampon towards your back not straight up. or you could sit on the toilet and do the same thing. personally i find it easier if i stand with my knees slightly bent. whatever is most comfortable to you, just remember to relax.
never used them!! want to but my mom wont let me! sorry i couldnt help!
try to relax when you put it in. It will go in a lot easier if you aren't tensed up down there. Also if you don't get it in far enuf, if will hurt while you are wearing it. Make sure you put it in as far as you can before pushing the plunger.
NO, it shouldn't hurt. Sounds like you're getting it at too much of an angle while inserting. Make sure it goes in following your body's normal position of the opening. It's not straight up and down but angles slightly backwards.
i was scared the first times, too. my mom taught me this trick- once you've put it in, sit down and if you can feel it or it hurts, something's wrong. you can try again or use a little lube or something. hope it works for you!
This happened to me to, and i thought that i was doing it wrong. The first few times hurt. You might not have it far enough, just push it a little when you put it in. and ypu should be fine! Hope it helps
Hey, don't sweat it. I was at camp and had a best friend talk me through it through the door. :) First, just relax. I use them all the time and even still they hurt sometimes, I think that's natural. Just make sure you put it in at an angle and take it out at an angle. It shouldn't hurt to use the applicator though. If it does, move it around until its comfy. Push it in far, too. Now the plunger hurts a little... again, I use them all the time and it hurts to use the plunger. But its ok. :) Practice makes perfect! Feel free for any more questions!
yeah, it hurt a little the first few times i did it. i think that as long as it doesn't hurt really bad and you can handle the pain for a bit (cause it should only last a couple min) it's okay.
it will hurt the 1st few times but you get used 2 it and how to put it in make sure it goes all the way in otherwise it will HURT
