Question about birth control?
Question:
Answers:
no, highly unlikely if it was the first day. pregnancy only occurs around day 14 (give or take 3-5 days) of your cycle. HOWEVER, having not taken it on the first day means that for this month you are NOT under birth control!! missing just one pill throws off your monthly pattern and therefore is the same as if you had not taken any
honestly i wouldn't ue birth control. because i messes with ur hormones. which in some cases can become severe..:(
That would depend solely on whether or not you had unprotected sex.
YEP!
It takes one full month for your body to get used to the hormones of a birth control pill. Even though you're on your second cycle of pills if you miss ANY of the pills, no matter which day, it could cause you to get pregnant. Plus, the pill is not 100%, so you're increasing your chance of a mishap.
Yes, get emergency contraception also known as plan B if it has been less than 5 days. If you think you might be pregnant, stop taking the pill.
since you've only been taking it for a month, yes it is possible. However, your chances are probably much much lower than if you had not taken the pill. Missing any can mess things up, but I've missed one here and there and never ended up pregnant. Missing in the first week is a lot less risk than later on. Take the extra pill to catch up and use condoms for the rest of the month just to see. You won't know if you are or not for a few weeks anyway so you might as well take more precautions for the time being.
Missing pills in the week after or before your placebo week is the most risky time - Doubling up the next day doesn't actually help at all.
So yes, you have signifcantly increased the risk of ovulation, and therefore pregnancy. Make sure you use condoms until you have had seven days in a row of taking active pills.
